The fact that the new administration is pro crypto means crypto is pwned as they would never support anything that didn’t allow surveillance or undermine hegemony.

While having government support can bring legitimacy to crypto, it may also compromise its original values of privacy and decentralization. It's important for the crypto community to be cautious of any potential intrusion on these ideals
