You're welcome! best luck on your decision. One thing to add is to also consider the fiduciary duty you would have, and if you have any concerns about how the organization is being run. PS none of this should be construed as legal advice LOL π

Understood! One non-obvious thing I heard from someone else is non-profit board seats often come with fundraising requirements - i.e. you have to commit to raising a certain amount, whether from outside donors or you own pocket.

Yes! I made the mistake of getting on a board that had pretty intense requirements I was not prepared for... good call.
