I have a wireless HP printer. It’s always connected to the internet so HP can monitor ink levels and send refills. What are the chances HP is snooping on what is being sent to printer? Or has the capability to? Unlikely but it can’t be 0. (As I send a seed phrase to the printer)

100%, I had one of those. Threw it in the bin. Got an analog one for replacement.

Your seed is as good as gone, archived in clear text in some disgruntled hp customer reps files. Not on paper tho, pretty sure hp is a paperless organization, given their first hand experience with printers

HP ? Unlikely. But your wireless printer is just another computer connected to the internet which probably is running on an unpatched OS, so theoretically it could be doing anything

Be so surprised if they are organised enough to do this given the archaic printing model all the companies still use - one where it's cheaper to buy a new printer with ink in it than new printer cartridges. I have opted out and have no printer. If I need to print something (prob not a seed phrase !) I use the library.

in your router just disable it's internet access---forget how to do that but there is 0 reason that HP needs to monitor your ink levels
