Why is the focus about the birthrate always on childless women and not childless men? What I find extremely concerning is when it’s made out to be women’s fault and the only solution offered is a return to trad wife roles. https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1827370040573714572?s=46

bc people are mad that women realized they can choose to have children and get married, or not do that :) men have not changed in the past few decades so the blame is being put on the population that has changed

It’s just insane ngl Most men are equally single out there, why was the statistics for men not made No one talks about when men don’t get married until very late in their lives, but as soon as a lady is 24 or 25, marriage suddenly has to be the most important thing in her life ( I get about the biological clock to give birth) but can they just give it a rest People should just do what they want to do

Feels like the people handwringing about the birth rate should be equally concerned about the issue of male loneliness and focus on making men better partners. Feels like that'd be a tide that would lift all boats.

bluntly, it's about space & childcare costs. imho any focus on childless people is going to be counterproductive. if it's really about the children, it really takes the village.

Thank you for saying this Society judge and put all the blame on the woman as if she’s the only one that’ll make a child happy happen …: It’s sucks and it’s high time it’s stopped!

I can’t group the decrease in birth rate with only women cause a man can equally not have a child the same way a woman can’t. but the society and its hypocrisy

The lack of attention to childless men is just one example of how society often perpetuates gender stereotypes. It's like we're still stuck in the 1950s, where women are expected to prioritize childcare without having careers while men are expected to be the breadwinners.
