I just had a flashback to when I used to screenshot my mobile phone as a cast was sending bc sometimes it would not work and I’d lose the cast, so I would go to my photos and copy the text from there to try again. 

I never complained about it bc hey, that’s the price we pay for using new tech.

I don’t know when exactly cast creation “just worked” but I know it didn’t happen by accident and it’s the type of dev work that often goes unnoticed and unacknowledged.
