I can't find the message bundles spec to check if there is a size limit, but: These new messages may be very large compared to other message types. Can this create some conflict with message bundles size?

The max CompactStateMessge size is 1MB (250k fids), which is well under the limits for gossip/bundle sizes

But you may have 10 or 100 of these submitted to a hub in a few seconds, is this still ok?

Yes! If they're all for the same fid: each fid can only have 1 CompactStateMessage per store, the latest one wins If they're for different stores: stores are merged in parallel, so no problem If they're for different fids and different stores: This is fine too, as bundles can be 100s of MBs
