I hadn't thought about potentially improving my gut bacteria health by eating new vegetables and fruits!

Is there any research you've come across that discusses this? I've been making a habit of having a big salad bowl for lunch most days with the standard leafy greens and chicken. However, the Japanese Kabocha squash and dragon fruit are new additions to the daily salad.

Next, I'll look up their nutrition content to see their levels of carbs, sugar, and fiber.

I thought these were decorations at an event until someone showed me how to bite into the peel to get to the fruit.

I wish I had taken a picture of the smaller fruit with a smooth peel that you also have to bite into to get to the fruit.

From my description to my friend they thinks it could have been mangosteen.
