the idea of ‘dead’ vs ‘alive’ loops / habits / places. a dead loop is something that doesn’t self sustain. that ends itself. that costs something.  like kids playing in a front yard on a busy street. you can’t help but intervene or over watch. vs an alive loop that self repairs / sustains

what was your most interesting / surprising takeaway from timeless way of building?
