just noticed the little “watch?” with eyes in this photo of jack dorsey’s early sketch of the twitter UI

kinda curious if that’s where the watch feature on farcaster comes from @dwr.eth @v or if you just converged on the same concept, since idt twitter ever actually implemented this feature https://i.imgur.com/rlNvLwX.j

I've wanted the ability to follow the replies to a tweet from someone else for 15+ years.

that’s kind of interesting — i wonder if whatever jack was imagining here was the same idea as FC watch or if there was something different about it

@dwr.eth came up with the idea, but i dont think either of us knew about this sketch

Legend has it they paid a consulting firm to run multiple focus groups then a/b tested “watch” and “look”. Watch won with 50.01%
