Top of mind: Blade Runner & Blade Runner 2049 Fury Road didn’t flop per say. It still made its money back, but Furiosa did flop hard (a film I also really enjoyed and felt was done dirty at the box office)

It’s not there isn’t a mechanism (it’s empathy) it’s just that it isn’t elevated above the punching down.

The problem with online shaming and callout culture is that there is no mechanism for communal reparations or forgiveness.

btw Solana by far most painful chain to work on + most expensive: 1. Cost $150 to deploy the program 2. Gas fees cost me 20c each time a crush is posted 3. Dev environment full on nightmare 4. Verifying a contract requires Docker? and pulling GBs of images? and doesn't even work?

To be clear it’s “sufficiently” centralized. Network stability be damned.

There's only one feature that would make me kick Notion to the curb with the webclipper, and thats the ability to select specific CSS elements on the page I'm scraping. For instance, I want to save a cast here and have the author of the cast be captured into specific author field. Having a css selector would grab the code, which can then be inserted into the template so going forward it knows where to look on the page. 🙏 please consider this. Other than that the bases + webclipper combo is just what the app needs.

2/ These aren’t assets. They’re butthole coins, poofy bags of air, shitcoins that exist to spike the charts and dopamine. And that's the point.
