The last official duel in the history of France happened in 1967 between Gaston Defferre and René Ribière, both delegates at the French National Assembly. During an argument in the assembly room, Defferre said to Ribière "shut up, idiot" ("taisez-vous, abruti"). Defferre won the duel after four minutes of sword fighting, wounding his opponent twice. Heightening the drama, Ribière was to be married the following day, though he could expect to live to see his own wedding, Defferre having vowed not to kill him but “wound him in such a way as to spoil his wedding night very considerably.”

Thats exactly it's main use case IMO. Make existing things better. Initially Apple seemed to understand this with how they were talking about leveraging LLMs to make Seri more in line with how chatGPT handles nuanced questions. I'm sure they'll get there but currently they're publicly pushing this in the wrong direction.

Did I fall for something that was closer to performance art, or was this cast legit?

I figured it was only a matter of time before this happened. Bountycaster makes the process too easy not to use 😎

Respect for knowing what you're not willing to put up with anymore. I know you got more talent that doesn't require you to chase these dragons. What are you working on outside of this stuff?

My sentiments exactly. Too similar to regular casts, and requires more unwanted effort to use as intended. IMO to improve this feature they should allow for users to have the ability to redirect it to their Telegram or Signal accounts.

One of the biggest issues with LLMs isn't the technology, but how its sold to the public. Apple may admire it internally with papers like this, however, externally they're positioning it's capabilities in a really lazy way that does a disservice to how it can thoughtfully help people. Bridget Carey nails this in her review, and it seems to have resonated with others since it's one of their most viewed videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0V554NyXWM

Hell hath no furry like Elon scorned. Also, Madonna said the same thing in the 2000s. Then 8 years later, poof! She's back stateside slinging shots at Applebees

Currently only offchain. In all seriousness though, it's only a matter of time before there's a family Safe wallet that uses splits to delegate allowances and capped spending budgets.
