It’s the natural next step for him to grow his audience outside of his “product reviewer” box

Will be interesting to see how bottoms up “outsider” tech creator voices stack against top down “insider” tech leaders (Sama)

Even though he's direct with his response to Sam, I'd also say he's generally been very thoughtful about his criticisms. Best case scenario, companies see it as a signal to do better. Worst case, they see it as a threat
