Please favor early adopters. I staked my ETH before Dec1 2020. Low index validators should have more rewards or chances to propose blocks. If there is a way to reward solo-stakers, that would be amazing as well.

Bitcoin hasn't felt decentralized for me since 2015, the main reason being institutionalized mining. If I can't run it at home, and I can't make profit, its not decentralized. The original ethos is Bitcoin is dead. All-in Ethereum!

why is it not better to be just regular income? it already feels like it is. The 32ETH is the only one that should be looked at as longterm gains, right?

Don't underestimate yourself. Try a testnet first. I joined the original testnet and have been running my validator since genesis. I have no coding background whatsoever. The testnet is already scary and it's the best thing to do to prepare for the real thing.
