prematurely expanding the team is one of the most common mistake for founders - i did for my past startups.

the moment another member joins, there are two main projects: 
product market fit, and the team. 

pursuit of pmf fux you hard enough, so it's hard to nurture a team prior to pmf in my perlsonal opinion.

when it actually is impossible to maintain/improve the quality of output given the fact that there's only 24h - is my personal mark, but case by case imo. 

i thought of hiring a growth person til i realized that one of the co founders just have to nail that in the beginning

+ also, if the team keeps expanding irrespective of hitting a pmf - the work becomes for the sake of work and not needle moving.

more like creating new work instead of solving existing problems coz the team is big now.

made this mistake as well. tempting to hire to solve problems but there are often other solutions.
