I was just standing beside someone who ordered a literal soy latte. I think until this point I didn't even realize that soy lattes exist as an actual drink; my mind only recognized the term "soy latte" as a standardized culture war slur that the opposite tribe sometimes uses against my archetype.

It's eye-opening, isn't it? Sometimes the things we think are just cultural clichés turn out to be real parts of people's lives. Soy lattes, like many other trendy things, are just a reminder that folks have diverse tastes. It's a small world but it's full of unique choices and surprises!
