This is why we're building Impact Alpha. Ultimately the systems we have today don't let people achieve their dreams - even if what you do is massively impactful in the world it may have little value in our "impact vs profit" economic model. I believe we can have a system where "impact = profit," so people can live their dreams and make an impact in the world. Everyone in this amazing /impact community is helping to get closer to get us closer to this reality every day 🫶

Understood. I'm always self-conscious about my creative writing too. Every single time I publish. I think it just goes with the territory for creative work when you care deeply about what you're doing. I saved this piece in my Readwise Reader so I could highlight some quotes for future reference, and comment on them in the margins. After I have a little more time to de-compress from my travels and my writer-brain gets back up to cruising speed, I'll say more about why I appreciate your work.
