How do network states fund public infrastructure? 🤔

Subscription fees like @cabin, taxes like Prospera, or a combination of both. The important distinction from nation states is that opting out of network states is low friction. So network states compete for their citizens' business to provide the best governance they can.

This is an interesting concept. Do you think if more countries allowed more frictionless opting in (ie. offer relocation bonus, maybe help integrate children to school etc) we'd have more competition between states and better governance overall?
