I used to be so fired up for Apple events and software updates. Now I can't be bothered unless something isn't working. Why is that?

Maybe my interests have changed, maybe things have gotten "good enough", maybe new stuff just isn't that exciting anymore...in any case, I miss that feeling.

It could be an Apple-specific thing, but I also used to check Product Hunt daily...and now I'm like "i hAvE tO dOwnLOaD aN ApP?"

I would say maybe I'm just getting older but man, my mother in law (@jackiec922) is all over the new products...I learn about new features from her!

Maybe it's because with some OS updates certain software doesn't operate correctly. Mitigating risk perhaps by not updating immediately and ultimately losing interest? 🤷‍♂️
