I’ve been using Navita’s Organic Cacao Powder (no affiliation)🍫 because it’s third-party tested for heavy metals and impurities, and it’s affordable. While I can’t get batch-by-batch readings, they do publish an average, which I appreciate. 🌱 I feel great with cacao and prefer the powder over dark chocolate. Studies, like one from Tulane, show risks of lead and cadmium in chocolates, even organic ones. 🍫⚠️ Metals can seep from soil or during drying near roadsides. Anyone know smaller-scale cacao farmers with fewer impurities? 🌿
