on the face of it, it seems like a mistaken, naive perspective, but given the layers of economic participants & being 500 years deep in a "civilization go FOOM" (Noah Smith found the best charts https://warpcast.com/m-j-r.eth/0x9f487ed6), this is really the best possible strategic outlook for the imminent future.
