Started doing this ~6 months ago. Main benefit for me is not waking up with a dry mouth. Even on nights I don't tape, my breathing when asleep has been retrained for the most part and still get the benefits.

I think mouth breathing is a health crisis. Thoughts?

I feel like I’m very cognizant of breathing through my nose at all times during the day + my yoga practice. thought about the tape but is there any reason to believe it could be different at night?

The tape, in my observation, is just an aid to nasal breathing. I think if you’re doing it already, and your sleep is really good, you could probably skip on it. Happy to hear this!
