When I started @holder, we assumed that brands in web3 would want to communicate with customers in similar ways as web2 (1:many, text-based subscriptions like email). While I still believe it will come, the truth is a new medium of customer comms was needed (channels, memecoins, NFT mints, many:many communities, etc).
