Random share: I've had two moments where the affect of my ADHD has made me truly sad. The first time I had a cold after realising I had ADHD, I worked that day and took cold and flu tablets containing pseudoephedrine, to help through the day. I was far more productive and focused, more than any other day in memory.

I felt internally rewarded for achieving the things that I had been procrastinating. The motivation was on tap and I could focus on one thing. I searched and found it was because of the meds. I felt robbed. The fact that other people don't deal with this and this would be "normal" really sent it home.

My wife, age 46, is finishing her 2nd yr of med school and was just diagnosed with adhd. The person that tested her said they could tell immediately even without going into the deeper questions and history. Sounds like a huge struggle tbh
