not really, itβs a bonding curve, so you do not have a classic LP; you can just mint more rn to provide additional $DEGEN to the $DEPE protocol

thx, can you explain bonding curve like im a slow 5y.o? based on this it seems like there's fixed price compared to Degen, but that doesnt feel correct.

You mint from a protocol pool. The mint price increases as outlined above. You can sell to the same pool at a fixed price. Depending on where the current price is, you can sell for more as you bought. friend dot tech also used that. It has advantages in that you donβt have to bootstrap liquidity.

Thanks! But it limits the upside too, no? Like depe can't 10x while degen stays flat because you sell at fixed amounts during each period. Right?

It can. Letβs assume degen stays flat. People buy first 10 depe at 1 degen, next 10 at 2, at some point due to the step increases, 10 depe could cost 100 degen, which would be a 100x. It already did 55 step increases or soβ¦
