Lake Baikal, known as the "North Sea" in ancient China, covers an area of 31500 square kilometers and is the 7th largest lake in the world. There is a large island in the lake, called Olyhong Island, which is about the same size as Singapore and has an area of approximately 730 square kilometers. It is already the third largest island in the world.
