thanks again to everyone that reached out and sent support a few weeks ago re: hurricane Helene. it's been a little over a week since we've gotten power back. I was scammed a few weeks before the storm and noticed i have some anxiety re: my wallet n stuff but i have a plan and will update soon

It’s already public knowledge that the pulse and blood oxygen monitoring tech of Fitbits/Apple Watches is inhibited by melanin (they work worse on black and brown people but charge them the same money). But I am pretty sure a higher and more variable heart rate also drains the batteries faster— Using myself as a case study with a sample size of one, my Fitbit battery life more than doubled once I stopped taking an ADD amphetamine (Vyvanse) that raised my heart rate, blood pressure AND made both more variable. The battery cost increase has to be logarithmic or exponential. A 15% increase in pulse or blood pressure, and 50% more variability between peaks and troughs in a day, must cause 50% to 100% more Fitbit battery usage as it increases power usage to keep up. Melanin might also poison-pill this logarithmic increase with a second, undisclosed logarithmic cost. Both Apple and Fitbit probably have internal research showing these shortcomings precisely and choose not to make that data public.

Hey folx I'm in Asheville, NC and could use some support if you are able, but no pressure 🐸👍 Power is out and cell service is spotty in the area. I've been meeting daily with a local group to gather and distribute resources and supplies, water, etc. There are lines for gas and groceries. I'm at less than half a tank of gas and just dealing with food day by day. My partner also has asthma, but I think we connected with some pharmacists who can help with medications. Well it finally happened. Just got rugged luckily it was just one nft, it hurts but I'm pretty non attached. Hoping I can get it back but prepared to accept the loss Any resources that might be able to help? Already did revoke, gonna work on getting the 3 wallet setup as well
