Would you pay a cent to download a package? What about being able to set a maximum of a dollar a day? Do you think micro-transactions will make their way into open source and api calls?

my answer is "no" but only because I think it would encourage lots of reinventing the wheel, rather than hardening and extending existing useful libraries e.g. I'm building a new package and I can make it more cost effective by implementing logic from scratch that I probably should have just imported
