My grandfather cried when he watched me play Assassin’s Creed for the first time in 2007. He said he’d never imagined computers would be able to make something so beautiful and I never forgot that. Everyone here is building the future with magic rocks and I think that’s so fucking cool.

He grew up in Baltimore in the 30’s, got married at 18, immediately had 3 kids, worked 10 hour shifts at a chemical manufacturing plant, and went to night school for a decade to get enough credits to become an industrial chemist. He’s a badass (and so is grandma - she worked up into management at a diff factory!)
