Objectively and from a moral view he has a point. The most transparent, yet hostile, permissionless environment. At the same time the most predatorial marketing techniques due to regulatory gray zones. Any other industry that is worse is technically illegal.

thanks, i think its important to find even an ounce of truth in criticisms. re: most transparent, i feel that crypto claims to be the most transparent but the prominence of anonymity, multiple wallet addresses, difficult tech to understand, etc. make it less transparent to the average person.

Thanks 😄 Absolutely agree! But then again, who understands the current financial system? I actually think crypto should have more built-in privacy for specific apps (not the settlement layer itself though). Although the criticism of the original post might be due to missing in depth understanding and focus on abusive use-cases. Honestly I’m looking forward to see how people will view it in hindsight
