New Project Launch 🛫

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a DEGEN-WETH pool. This enables contributions towards voting incentives and liquidity, offering the @farcaster community an opportunity to support a homegrown project.

Since many have been asking about here's a TLDR of the @aerodrome model and how it will benefit the /degen community

@aerodrome operates on weekly voting periods called "epochs" which start and end every Thursday 00:00 UTC

Once a new epochs begins, voters immediately receive their share of voter rewards and AERO emissions begin streaming to pools until the next epoch begins

So to recap:

Fees & Incentives attract Votes -> Votes direct AERO emissions -> AERO emissions form the APRs to attract Liquidity Providers -> Deeper TVL improves the experience for trading -> More swaps = More fees = More votes next epoch!

Liquidity Providers receive AERO emissions

Voters (veAERO holders) receive fees & incentives for the pools they vote on
- these rewards for voters tend to generate 3-4X the value to LPs i.e. for every $1 in rewards for voters of the DEGEN pool $3-4 worth of AERO emissions get distributed to LPs

veAERO = locked AERO

do i have to vote every week and pay gas constantly for doing so? sounds like a lot of work. i find it more appealing to provide liquidity on uni bc it does not demand constant actions, it's more like "provide and forget". but to each it's own.
