Fascinating data point. As a Brit, it is clear from this recent development that Musk does not understand British people or British politics or is not quite as serious as many thought - calling for Farage to be replaced completely misunderstands his importance in UK politics; without him Reform is nothing - making a fuss over Tommy Robinson thoroughly misunderstands Reforms route to power; there is not the political constituency to support him like there might be in the USA - the gambit generally misunderstands UK politics, where there is far less scope for money to buy influence; you can’t buy a man’s principles and push him to power because the media landscape is not so politicised It also makes me think: he understands my country poorly; he seems to have misjudged a big portion of Germany; he probably misunderstands lots more geopolitics than I thought

Glad people are finally noticing. Interesting where Musk's image will go after this and the H1B visa stuff. I don't fuck with Farage, but he was arguably the greatest politician in a generation even before he became an MP. Maybe Sturgeon could have challenged him before they started digging up gold in her husband's garden.
