I’d love to hear @vitalik.eth’s take on the new tipping meta we’re seeing with $degen and $enjoy.

We’re in the early days of this but it’s notable because the community is charge of distribution. I don’t think we’ve seen this before.

and the internet has been trying to invent tipping for so long... (and never worked!) so this is really new...

i think it's a pretty addicting mechanic. hard to not miss it when you go to other platforms; it's just pretty fun.

perhaps not so ironically it's also what popularized DOGE in the first place, which ultimately led to a lot of the "free money for random people. . . is good actually?" conclusions that now dominate

Let’s see how it unfolds at larger scale. For now it remains at the stage of a glorious experiment where everyone has felt excited and special. It will involve with the influx of new faces and potential disruptors.
