another observation is the rise of the nu school evangelical billionaire partisan activist. I was mostly offline in 2016 and 2020 but I don’t remember the holy war rhetoric from Silicon Valley/Wall Street elites re the election. Musk, All-In, myriad VCs, Naval, Ackman, Gary Tan are all riled up, fervent, drawing lines in the sand, at times referencing mystical and religious tropes to describe their struggle. brave new world innit.

I know a lot of people here need to raise $ so this won’t be a super popular observation, feel free to smash the bookmark instead of the like button.

2016 was largely anonymous faces in support on both sides, Democrats had masks on and were throwing bricks. Republicans afraid to speak, because they'd lose their jobs or lives. Rumors are Clinton's love killing anyone who gets in their way ask Vince Foster or Seth Rich. At this time 4chan had a huge sway on internet culture. 2020 was different because we were still under the Covid spell, and the shadow cabal in charge shut down everyone's youtube and Facebook accounts that disagreed with them and had a large enough voice. Flooding chats with FBI agents and forcing companies like Twitter to change algorithms, splintering up right wing social networks, and shadowbanning many. At this point, 2024, Trump will landslide win unless someone kills him.
