usually receive means copying an address, and there are more efficient ways to retrieve that. request should send a push notification to another user for a venmo-like payment request.

it can be done using something like @xmtp (which coinbase wallet and a few others use) network level consent for preventing spam and filtering for trusted contacts.

Have you seen the "Send $USDC" option in Coinbase Wallet via text? The underlying tech is by @dobrokhvalov at linkdrop. Would be interesting to do this as a "request" (receive) as well.
