this obviously shouldn't be the primary way to transact, but should be an option for those that don't want to tolerate the friction of onramping.

Isn't this similar to how https://magic.link/ tackles it?

I saw one of their consumer NFT launches & it was simple credit card txns with no mention of wallets etc.

Would be great if different tokens you hold popped up in the same way any one of my credit cards pop up in Apple Wallet. Swipe up, select token, Face ID, purchase. :)
