As a Russian who understands Putin's point of view, I can tell that we don't think about Poland that much, and neither is he. The war in Ukraine is about Ukraine. Russia is like an abusive boyfriend who can't let his darling go.

I agree with this abusive boyfriend metaphor. And I think right now (as of February 2024) it is primarily about Ukraine but Poland def makes him angry as it shows CEE countries that you can do better without Russia
