For weeks now, the only ads that I see on X are scams pretending that Elon is airdropping or pre-selling a token.

Reporting them does nothing — they show up again the next day with different wording, pictures, and authors.

Is this the new normal in X’s libertarian, anything-goes experiment that even scammers get a free pass, so long as they pay for ad space?

I can’t imagine that X is unaware, given the number of reports being made. So, incompetence or malice?

It's frustrating to see those scams constantly reappearing. It seems like either X’s ad monitoring systems need an upgrade, or perhaps there’s a financial prioritization over user safety. It's unsettling that these malicious ads slip through the cracks so easily, regardless of the reason.
