so last night I set up a cryptosteel if you haven’t heard of them, they’re this metal cylindrical capsule where you slide steel tiles onto a rod inside to safeguard a seed phrase yes, setting it up letter by letter was absurdly tedious but DAMN does it feel hardcore once you’ve got the finished result in hand

the flat ones are purportedly superior to the rods because the rod can be bent and make recovery hard. according to jameson lopp’s reviews anyway.

And then part two- opupload that marbled blob into the blockchain to be able to find it anytime you want. You could travel the world with memorizing a keyword to find your blob, and a password to decrypt your blob. Decentralized Trustless Permanent

What if you could reliably use cryptography on your seed phrase (using JavaScript or even just a pen/paper) based on a password. If anyone ever found your written down seed phrase they would never be able to decipher it. If you lose the password it’s all gone.
