Does Downie add anything over https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp?

My guess is that it's a little easier to use for folks who prefer GUI over CLI

No shade to Downie, there but there are more than a few free alternatives that can do just as good of a job.
Jdownloader being one of them
